Student Health Service

The Student Union works to promote good mental and physical health among students. To support this, there is the Student Health Service (Studenthälsan), where you can find, among others, nurses and psychologists with extensive experience in study-related issues such as stress management, low self-esteem, public speaking difficulties, performance anxiety, depression, and sleep problems. They offer both individual consultations and courses or workshops on various themes. If you need to talk about your own or others’ alcohol habits, free alcohol counseling is available. Don’t wait too long—problems are easier to manage early on!

For physical well-being, Ultuna Student Union has a sports association (ULS IF) and an outdoor association (UFFE) that organize health-promoting activities.

Study Environment

The university is your workplace as a student and is covered by the same laws as any other workplace. The Union has representatives in committees that discuss issues related to the campus work environment. This can include everything from air quality, laboratory safety, and noise, to chairs, computers, and microwaves in student facilities. If you feel that your study environment is not adequate, contact the person responsible for student social affairs in the Union Board.

Equal Opportunities

ULS arbetar på olika nivåer för att öka medvetandet och förståelsen av ett aktivt lika villkorsarbete. Dels inom kåren men också på universitetet, för alla som jobbar med studenter och studentrelaterade frågor.

If you or someone close to you is mistreated or treated unfairly by a teacher, fellow student, or other staff, the Union and the person responsible for student social affairs on the board are there to support you and safeguard your rights.
