Time for a PhD Defense Celebration?

When you defend your doctoral thesis, the Union venue is perfect for your celebration. The venue is very flexible and can accommodate everything from mingling to a three-course dinner with dancing afterward. The space can hold up to 300 people for mingling and up to 130 seated.

Food and drinks

The venue has a liquor license and is allowed to serve alcohol every day from 11:00 to 02:00. We offer a wide range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at very favorable prices. Due to the liquor license, bringing your own alcoholic beverages into the venue is not permitted.

You order catering yourself, but we can help with recommendations. The venue has a prep kitchen, which is included in the basic rental fee.

Prices

Base Rental 5,000 SEK
Access to the venue the day before 500 SEK
This cost covers access to the venue between 9:00 and 16:00. Any time beyond this will be charged at an hourly rate. This option can be chosen, for example, for table setup.
Sound, lighting & technical equipment:1,200 SEK
Consumables: as agreed

The base rental includes access to crockery, tables, and chairs.

Cleaning is billed as 1 hour of work for the staff you hire for the evening.

Staff Pricing

License holder: 350 SEK/hour
DJ: 220 SEK/hour
Other staff: 220 SEK/hour
