The PhD Student Council (DR) is the Union’s body for matters related to research and doctoral education, as well as other issues concerning PhD students at the Faculty of Natural Resources and Agricultural Sciences (NJ). DR consists of a board and representatives from all departments within the faculty. The board includes a chairperson, vice chairperson, vice chairperson responsible for finances, secretary, and one member, as well as any co-opted members if applicable.
DR är representerat i SLU:s samlade studentkårers(SLUSS:s) doktorandnämnd (DN), fakultetsnämnden (FN), forskarutbildningsnämnden(FUN), forskarutbildningsrådet(FUR), docentnämnden och rådet för fortlöpandemiljöanalys(FoMAR).Tillsammansmed övriga doktorandråd vid SLU väljs också representant till SLU:sstyrelse, SLUSS, forskningsrådet, NOVA, Sverigesförenade studentkårers(SFS) doktorandkommitté och Sveriges doktorander (S-dok).
