BiOM is one of the Union’s study councils. The committee’s main task is to review the course evaluations that students complete after each course. BiOM monitors courses taken by students in theAgronom Mark/Växt, växtodlingsprogrammet, Biologi- och miljövetenskap, Civilingenjörsprogrammet för Miljö- och vattenteknik (courses given at SLU), EnvEuro, Soil, Water and Environment, and Plant Biology for Sustainable Production.
In addition to academic representation, BiOM also organizes alumni evenings, study visits, and pub events. As a member of BiOM, you help ensure the quality of education while also gaining insight into what happens “behind the scenes” in the courses you take.
