The Landscape Council (Landskapsrådet) is one of the Union’s study councils and represents LARK and LING students within SLU. The committee’s main task is to monitor the quality of education and ensure that programs maintain a high standard, as well as represent students’ opinions. This can include anything from poor air quality in design studios to an unsafe social study environment. In addition, the council organizes social and academic activities when possible, such as alumni evenings and formal dinners. The best part of the committee is that, as a member, you gain an overview of the entire program, which helps you better understand your education while also giving you the opportunity to contribute ideas for improvement. Through academic representation, you also establish contact with course coordinators and build close connections with the program directors for LARK and LING.
