HantU is a newly established committee at Ultuna Student Union, created as a meeting place for all creative souls at SLU. Here, students from different programs have the opportunity to meet, have fika, craft, and be inspired by each other’s handicraft skills—regardless of prior experience.
Syftet med HantU är att främja skaparglädje och gemenskap genom att arrangera hantverksträffar av olika slag under månadens gång. Vi vill göra det enkelt och roligt att testa nya tekniker, utveckla egna projekt eller bara komma och hänga i en kreativ miljö.
The committee organizes both:
- Smaller gatherings, where you can bring your own project or borrow materials for small crafts on site.
- Larger workshops, where we try different crafts together. Examples of such activities include:
- Paint and sip
- Sewing circles
- Ceramics with air-dry clay
- Whittling
- Candle-making
You are welcome to join and create something—both with your hands and for the community!
