The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU)<\/strong>, Ultuna, is located 3 km south of Uppsala. Around 2,000 students are educated here in programs and courses focused on the green industries. At SLU Ultuna, students are trained as agronomists, civil engineers, landscape architects, landscape engineers, forest economists, veterinarians, and animal health technicians, as well as several other programs leading to a bachelor's or master's degree.\"\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ultuna Student Union<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Ultuna Student Union is one of Sweden\u2019s oldest student unions and was founded around 1868. The organization is run on a voluntary basis by committed students and has around 240 positions. To continuously improve the education programs and the social study environment, Ultuna Student Union maintains a well-developed collaboration <\/span>with the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. The Union also works actively with business contacts, which we consider very important for facilitating students\u2019 transition from student life to working life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Welcoming weeks<\/strong><\/h4>\n

All new students at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), Ultuna, begin their studies with the two welcoming weeks organized by Ultuna Student Union. The weeks include a variety of events aimed at helping new students quickly get to know each other, the university, Uppsala, and the senior students. The welcome weeks are one of the largest events organized by the Union and are considered one of the most enjoyable parts of student life. To enhance the quality of the welcome weeks, the Union collaborates with several companies that want to support the activities while also promoting themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Union's Website<\/strong><\/h4>\n

During these weeks, spreading information about what is happening on campus is extremely important, and the website plays a central role. During the weeks, a dedicated tab will be presented at the top of the website containing all information about the welcoming weeks for both new and returning students. In the left margin, there will be a separate link featuring the main sponsors of the welcoming weeks, where you will have your own presentation and a link to a website of your choice.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Union's TV screen system<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Union owns its own TV screen system to efficiently share information with students. Your logo will be included under the main sponsors section.<\/span><\/p>\n

Printed information<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The new students receive a lot of information about the welcoming weeks, such as schedules and various tasks to be completed. Your logo will be included on these papers. If you want additional marketing, there is an opportunity to send beach flags or banners that we can put up on campus.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Union offers companies that sponsor with desirable products exclusive marketing opportunities during these two weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Serving<\/strong><\/h4>\n

When serving your products, it will be clearly indicated who is sponsoring them. The Union takes care of all practicalities, such as printing company logos for the servings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Exposure<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Ultuna Student Union is located in the center of campus. During the welcome weeks, the Union becomes a natural gathering place for the new students. To welcome them, daily activities are held, such as sports competitions, meals, and introductions to the university\u2019s traditions. In the evenings, there is also a pub where light food is served. By providing products for any of these activities, your company will gain strong exposure. Your company will also have the opportunity to display posters at the Union and on campus during these weeks. We also have the possibility to distribute any promotional items.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
